Enterprise 2.0 at Interop

The Network Systems and Security Solutions team is responsible for partnering with CDO and the field to develop the strategic vision and marketing plans that integrate technologies across key solution areas. Marie has extensive marketing, product management, and technology experience in both Enterprise and SP networking infrastructure including Routing, Switching, L4-7 Load Balancing, Subscriber Carrier Services Aggregation, Subscriber Policy Management and Security both inside and outside of Cisco. Prior to joining Cisco, Marie held leadership marketing, technology architecture and solutions management positions at Nortel Networks, Alteon and Shasta. Marie has an MBA from York University and a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto

Shashi Kiran leads the Access Routing team for the Network Systems group at Cisco. In this capacity, he is also spearheads Cisco's solution initiative for the branch as a place in the network focusing on routing, unified communications, security, mobility and WAN optimization. Kiran has 13 years of experience in designing, architecting and building networks for hosted businesses, service providers and enterprise networks. Previously he worked as a Senior Product Line Manager with Nortel focusing on the areas of VPNs, Security services and Metro Ethernet products. Kiran has published hundreds of columns as an honorary consultant and columnist to various technology magazines and was instrumental in launching India's first e-mail based course on Networking in the mid-1990s, which was subsequently syndicated. Shashi Kiran holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering and an MBA degree in Strategic marketing. He has been an active contributor to various standards bodies and a speaker at industry events
