Frank DeLattre joined Pentadyne in March of 2005 with over 17 years of domestic and international sales management experience in the Power Quality industry. Prior to joining Pentadyne, Mr. DeLattre was Vice President of Sales for Cherokee International, a leading manufacturer of custom AC-DC power supplies in the datacom, telecom, and medical markets. Mr. DeLattre was instrumental in expanding and managing a network of -manufacturer's representative and closing major design wins at various tier one OEM accounts.

Rich Friedrich leads the Internet Systems and Storage Laboratory in HP Labs. This applied research team focuses on next-generation Internet computing and storage systems, and on inventing distinctive utility computing mechanisms to provide IT infrastructure and services on demand. His sustained record of innovative accomplishments spans his 20+ year career in HP research and product positions. He led the system performance team that optimized the first commercial PA-RISC based systems in the mid-1980s and the first multiprocessor, online transaction processing RISC systems in the late 1980s. He led the architecture and design of a large-scale, distributed measurement system for the OSF Distributed Computing Environment in the early 1990s. More recently, he led the teams that invented WebQoS, the novel technology for providing predictable and stable performance for Internet based applications, re-architected Linux for IA-64, and provided key technologies to HP?s Utility Data Center, Open View Automation Manager and StorageWorks data grid products. His team has demonstrated the power of utility services by working with DreamWorks to provide a 1000-processor remote utility rendering service that was critical to the production of the feature films Shrek II and Madagascar His team in Bristol, UK has used the utility rendering service to reach out to up and coming animators through the SE3D film festival demonstrating multi-user utility services delivered through market-based resource allocation, a breakthrough in the real world power of utility computing. His team?s Smart Data Center work focuses on power and cooling in the data center and has already realized electrical consumption decreases of 35%. He has participated on many scientific program committees, published extensively, and is a co-inventor on a dozen patents. He is a graduate of Northwestern University.

Paul Marcoux is the Director of Education and Training and the Data Center Science Center at APC. His career has included executive positions in Financial, Healthcare and Technology industries over a span of 30 years; providing consulting, design, engineering and management services for 3 plus Million square feet of Domestic and International Data Centers, from small LAN rooms to a state-of-the-art 2N Data Centers. Paul also holds degrees in electrical and mechanical engineering and has a Masters in Business Administration. Paul is frequently quoted in professional trade publications and has delivered numerous Web and Pod cast. He also provides executive level presentations on technology, data center operations and organization to leading corporate executives in the Americas, Europe and Asia.

Brian Lett, Senior Marketing Manager, EMC. Brian is currently responsible for managing all marketing communications for EMC?s Resource Management Software Group. His previous responsibilities at EMC have included managing competitive intelligence, marketing campaigns, and acquisition-related integration projects. Before joining EMC (through the acquisition of Smarts), Brian spent two years as a consultant. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at IT research firm Gartner, where he held numerous research and senior communications management positions. Before Gartner, Brian spent three years in various marketing roles with IBM. Brian has bachelor?s degrees from Syracuse University, as well as an MBA from New York University?s Stern School of Business.

Mr. Brill is the Founder and Executive Director of The Uptime Institute and the 85-corporate member Site Uptime Network. He holds an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Many industry innovations, such as dual power topology and site infrastructure Tier level trace back to his original work. In 1999, recognizing that heat density would become critical to IT availability; Mr. Brill worked closely with the Thermal Management Consortium to publish the white paper 2000-2010 Heat Density Product Trends. This foundational industry document predicting many of the problems now facing the industry was updated for the Institute?s High-Density Computing Symposium held in April 2006. He has authored or contributed to many white papers and is a frequent commentator in business and technology media on data center and site infrastructure design, engineering, and management issues. His current focus is on Data Center Energy Efficiency and Productivity and the strategic and business impact of The Economic Meltdown of Moore?s Law

Chris Orr joined Tripwire in October 2000 and serves as a Senior Inside Systems Engineer where he provides pre-sales technical assistance and solution designs for the sales force. As a holder of the ITIL Foundations certification and a CISA since 2005, Chris understands the need for Change Auditing in the post-Enron world. Don Esterle is the vice president of sales and marketing for StrataSpace, which is designed to be one of the most secure and operationally efficient data center facilities ever developed. The 570,000 square foot facility is 60 feet underground and carved out of solid limestone, which provides an unparalleled level of security and HVAC efficiency that simply can not be achieved in an above ground structure. StrataSpace is located in northern Kentucky, which has the lowest average utility rates of any state in America. Don previously held the position of president and CEO for Xodiax Data Centers, which was recognized in 2004 by Inc. Magazine as the 85th fastest growing private company in America. Xodiax was acquired by Peak 10, which operates 10 data centers in 7 southeastern cities. After a successful transition Don joined StrataSpace.

Tom Lindblom is Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of CKE Restaurants, Inc., a $1.5 billion company that through its subsidiaries operates more than 3,100 franchised and company-owned restaurants in 43 states and 13 countries. He is responsible for providing the Company with strategic direction for using technology to enhance corporate productivity and profitability. Before joining CKE Restaurants, Inc. in 1999, Tom was with Hardee's Food Systems, Inc. for four years as Director, Operations Services/Technology . In total he has more than 25 years of experience in the technology field, having held various technology management positions at a number of companies. During his career Tom has completed assignments in such varied environments as banking, drugstores, restaurants, food distribution and department stores. Tom is a member of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE) and holds a BSc in Information Technology.

Jonah Kowall has been on the bleeding edge of technology. He began his career in 1995 at Novalink Enterprises, which later became Eprise. While consulting there, he built some of the early database driven web content for organizations such as Digital, Sun, and DH Brown. After that, while still in college, Jonah co-founded Content Advisor in 1996. This content filtering company?s pioneering technology is still integrated into Internet Explorer. Jonah was also an active developer on the FreeBSD project, committing code that is still deployed worldwide. In 1998 he moved to the consulting company Cambridge Interactive, assisting clients like CERA, Forum Inc, and Giga Information Group. The company morphed into PowerSteering Software, where Jonah became CTO. During this time he took an active role in developing the open source snort system and achieved certifications on many networking and security related technologies. In 2003, Jonah joined CCBN as their CISO, the firm made Fortune?s ?fastest growing private companies? list. Jonah directed the construction of the security infrastructure. He managed the implementation of cutting edge NIDS, HIDS, and NBADs systems, thus keeping secure investor relations websites and data for over 2400 public companies. CCBN was sold to Thomson in 2004. Thomson is rapidly acquiring new businesses. This creates security and integration problems, which caused Jonah to found the Advanced Engineering group. The charter was to proactively address the most critical issues of the executive management. He acquired sophisticated technologies, including performance, security, and analysis products to resolve support issues. Jonah moved into the Technical Operations area of Thomson in 2006 where he manages the design, implementation, and vision for the tools used to manage, monitor, and maintain our infrastructure. This includes asset management, CMDB, ticketing, SAN, network, servers, datacenters, and other technologies.

Jim Hall IT Marketing Manager, Liebert Solutions, Emerson Network Power, and President, Blade Systems Alliance Jim Hall has more than three decades of leadership experience in marketing, engineering and operations management in the power industry. In his position at Emerson Network Power, he is responsible for developing strategies and driving execution of programs that educate IT managers and executives about power and cooling issues, including the unique power and cooling requirements blades introduce. He also currently serves on the board of the Central Ohio AFCOM chapter.
